The practical answer

One video can give you a cover image, a product close-up and a fresh post. Spoofzy’s Distinct Frames selects up to 12 visually different JPEGs from your footage, saving you the job of pausing and capturing each moment by hand.

Start with the best recording you have

The original video gives the tool the most detail to work with. Social downloads and screenshots can introduce extra compression or reduce the available resolution.

Footage with a clear subject, several expressions or a few different angles makes a good starting point. Sharp, well-lit moments tend to make stronger stills. Motion blur in the recording will also appear in an extracted frame.

Supported MOV files work, and an iPhone Live Photo can be saved as a video first. The linked format guide explains why codec support matters as well as the filename.

Extract up to 12 distinct frames in Telegram

Open Editor in Spoofzy, choose Distinct Frames and send your video as a file. Editor is the current name for the menu previously called Video Studio.

Distinct Frames filters candidates for quality and visual difference, then returns a selection of JPEGs. It can produce fewer than 12 when the footage offers limited variety.

Frame timestamps and dimensions help you match an image to the source. Keep that reference if the photo will become a cover for the same video or part of a client selection.

Build a small photo set from a product demo

Look for three useful moments: a clear view of the product, a shot of it in use and a close-up of an important detail. That gives you different material for a cover, a social post and a supporting image.

Open each candidate at full size, then try the crop you plan to publish. A wide frame may need more space around the subject to work as a portrait post. The table below is a quick way to narrow the selection.

Turn your selected frames into posts

Save your favourites with names that describe their role: cover, close-up, product-in-use. A small, well-chosen set is easy to hand to a teammate or drop into a content calendar.

For a two-image post, send a pair of these stills to Editor’s Side by side tool. To make another cut from the same footage, try Shorts or AI Highlights. You can build a useful set of assets from the shoot you already have.
