Invisible SynthID
Google embeds this watermark in the image itself. You cannot establish whether it is present by looking at the picture. Spoofzy’s dedicated SynthID Removal tool is for supported Google AI images.
File metadata
EXIF fields and Content Credentials are stored differently. Removing them is not the same as removing SynthID. Use Metadata Cleaner for supported file metadata.
A visible logo
A logo or watermark you can see is another kind of edit. SynthID Removal does not promise to erase visible watermarks or prove that an image was made without AI.

Questions about SynthID Removal.
What do “synth id bypass” and “SynthID remover” mean?
People use both phrases when looking for ways to alter Google’s invisible AI watermark. SynthID is the standard spelling. Spoofzy offers a dedicated image-processing workflow in Telegram for supported Google AI images; it is separate from metadata cleanup and visible-logo editing. A screenshot, crop or compressed copy is not by itself evidence that SynthID is gone, and no universal detector result is promised.
What is SynthID, and what does a SynthID remover do?
SynthID is Google’s watermarking technology for AI-generated content. For images, the invisible watermark is embedded in the pixels rather than displayed as a logo. Spoofzy’s SynthID Removal processes supported Google AI images to remove that watermark and returns a separate image for you to review.
Does this work with Gemini and Nano Banana images?
The workflow supports Google AI images, including supported Gemini and Nano Banana outputs. Google describes Nano Banana as Gemini’s native image-generation capabilities and states that generated images include SynthID. This is not a promise of compatibility with every model version, edited file or other AI provider.
Is SynthID removal the same as removing metadata or a visible watermark?
No. SynthID is embedded in image pixels. EXIF fields and C2PA Content Credentials are separate metadata, while a visible logo or overlay is something you can see. Metadata cleanup alone does not remove SynthID. Choose Spoofzy’s Metadata Cleaner for supported metadata; SynthID Removal is not a visible-watermark editor.
Does turning off Gemini’s visible watermark remove SynthID?
No. Google says Gemini’s Media Watermark setting controls the visible mark and does not turn off invisible SynthID or Content Credentials. Spoofzy’s image-only SynthID Removal is a separate workflow for supported Google AI images. It is not a visible-logo editor. Which file types can I upload? Does it support video?
Upload JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC/HEIF images up to 20 MB. Send the image as a Telegram file for the closest source quality. Spoofzy’s SynthID Removal is image-only: it does not process video, audio or text, even though Google uses SynthID across those media too.
Will the processed image look exactly the same?
The workflow is designed to preserve the image’s appearance, but it is not a lossless guarantee. Keep the original and inspect the returned copy, especially faces, fine detail, text, colour and edges, before publishing or handing it to a client.
Will the result pass every AI detector or avoid platform labels?
No such guarantee is offered. SynthID is one identification signal, not every detector’s method. Other signals and platform rules can still apply, and a missing watermark does not establish that an image is non-AI. Use images you are authorised to edit and retain any disclosures your intended use requires.
